This project originated while I was taking a screenwriting course at school, and I occasionally enjoy revisiting it to explore new aspects of the story and its characters.
Set in the 27th century on Mars, the story begins with the troubled relationship between the brothers Xin and Zhong, heirs of the monarch Hui-Ying, who take on the role of leaders of the three continents after their mother's death. Xin, fair and esteemed, would govern Alnitak and Alnilam, the more prosperous nations, while Zhong would only be given Mintaka, the poorest one. Their rivalry will ignite a catastrophic conflict that will result in the destruction of Alnitak and the death of Xin.
The protagonist, Nathaniel, is an elite soldier from Mintaka who, after being injured and suffering memory loss during a mission in Alnilam, is rescued by the Resistance. Unaware of his past, he begins to discover a different side of the war and to forge new alliances. As his memory begins to resurface, he realizes that the different versions of the story of Alnitak's fall do not coincide and feels the need to uncover the truth. Realizing that his choices could influence the fate of the conflict, he must decide which side to take and what to fight for.
